AMS 5872 is an age-hardenable nickel-cobalt chromium-molybdenum alloy known for being easy to form and weld. The alloy is also characterized by its good aged strength properties with excellent fabrication characteristics in the annealed condition. AMS 5872 is typically used in landbased turbine applications.
