AMS 5962 is widely used for products requiring a room temperature minimum tensile strength of 220 ksi, such as fasteners in aerospace. AMS 5962 is cold worked after solution annealing and generally used at temperatures up to 900° F. Alternative specs include C50TF13 and DMS-2209.
